Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking to hire an Acquisition Analyst IV.
The contractor shall use and apply acquisition programmatics and technical program management support for operational concepts.
The contractor shall manage and coordinate operational and technical support to JPM CBRN Protection programs.
The contractor shall use planning, analytical, problem solving, organizational, and leadership skills to support the following:
Interaction with stakeholders.
Work and project prioritization.
Identifying problems and developing solutions.
Planning and executing programs, projects, or studies within established constraints (e.g., funding, schedule, etc.)
The contractor shall evaluate recommendations, analyze and collect information and support documentation, and assist the staff in making informed decisions.
The contractor shall use and apply Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes.
The contractor shall develop oral and written communications and shall speak clearly.
The contractor shall use Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) strategic, operational, and tactical capabilities to apply Joint operational concepts projects and programs.
The contractor shall plan, organize, and develop program management techniques and internal controls for acquisition programs and support functions.
The contractor shall provide technical acquisition strategy support to the Government Lead.
The contractor shall recommend strategies, review schedules, identify issues, and recommend actions to meet program milestones.
The contractor shall gain concurrence, approval, and consensus from stakeholders on various issues.
The contractor shall provide a consistent presence to relay issues, concerns, and perceptions of key stakeholders.
The contractor shall interact with Government and contract support personnel who oversee discrete elements of the acquisition program.
The contractor shall monitor project schedules to ensure proper resources and risks are recognized and mitigated.
The contractor shall review internal and external reports and briefs, including those of other agencies, and provide analyses of the documents, including relevance and impact.
The contractor shall interpret specifications, requirements, and technical data.
The contractor shall assist in the development of documentation, provide advice, and analyze data for informational and pre-decisional program meetings.
The contractor shall lead or assist in preparation and support of PMRs, IPTS, and other meetings.
The contractor shall track the status of action items and assigned milestones, ensuring deadlines are met.
The contractor shall respond to internal and external requests for information.
The contractor shall maintain a library of product/program-specific electronic files and applicable reference materials for one or more programs.
The contractor shall attend meetings or discussions either in person, via telecon, or using MS Teams if on-site gatherings and/or travel are restricted
Minimum Requirements:
US Citizenship is required.
An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Strong MS Office skills.
Defense Acquisition experience.
Preferred:
Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level III certification, or the equivalency, in Program Management and/or Engineering is desired. DAU courses will be at Government cost; however, travel costs (ex: Per Diem, lodging, mileage) will not be at Government cost.
